Episcopal News Service, the official online news source of the Episcopal Church, ran a story on my LEGO St. John’s Lafayette Square. If you’d like to see more pictures of LEGO St. John’s, click here. If you’d like instructions to build your own micro-scale St. John’s, click here.
Welcome to Old Town Bricks
I’ve been a LEGO® fan my entire life. I still remember the first LEGO set I ever got, a Space Police II starship, for Christmas when I was 3 or 4. While I was in high school, I taught myself how to use Photoshop to make stickers for my minifigures and managed both Yub-Yub.tk and GalacticBrick.com (I wouldn’t recommend using either of those URLs). After a few years trying in college of supressing my LEGO hobby (ok, addiction), I’ve decided to get back into building and collecting. I’ve been getting involved with our LUG and presenting at LEGO events around the region. I’m going to try to focus this website on my own MOCs (which are generally churches, trains, or tanks), local LEGO news, and pictures of LEGO from my travels.
I’ve started developing some models with instructions using Bricklink’s Studio Software. I occasionally offer them for sale and will provide instructions. These models will likely focus on the Washington, DC, region or Episcopal/Anglican churches.
